Providing marketplace management, refurbishment and remarketing to consumer electronics brands

Year Founded

Consumer Electronics

Protempo was founded in 2004 as a consumer electronics “Deal of the Day” website. The company sourced products from gray market traders, leading to the development of a proprietary tool for gathering and analyzing marketplace intelligence. In 2021, we scaled and relaunched this exciting tool as Ordian, a software service for global brands.

We understand the retail dynamics for both brick-and-mortar and online channels, and we have an extensive background servicing the wider electronics market across the full gamut of market segments. Our experienced, well-connected team takes your product and finds strategic outlets both within and outside the usual resale channels, allowing you to focus on your core business.

For us, execution is key. We have heavily invested in our primary 140,000 square foot global distribution center in California, supporting full reverse logistics capabilities, e-commerce “pick, pack, & ship” solutions, refurbishing services, and global and domestic retail distribution. This system is driven by custom-developed software and a local service and support team to ensure we deliver expediently and efficiently.

Protempo has a strong international presence, selling to established contacts in over 60 countries and territories. Though we’re growing rapidly, we continue to offer customized services to every brand we partner with. Your business is important to us, and we’re dedicated to ensuring your specific needs are met.
