Ordian delivers effective, data-driven strategies to global brands

Our combined decades of experience have positioned us to develop and deliver cutting-edge, data-driven strategies capitalizing on machine learning capabilities to protect brands and reduce disruptive online marketplaces.

History

Ordian was born in a New Zealand dorm room. Our founder, Adam Brown, wanted to help sell liquidated products, so he created a simple “Deals of the Day” website. Before he knew it, he was handling several brands, earning their trust and expanding the site’s services into repair/refurbishment, managing marketplace sales, and product distribution.

Eventually, the company was required to sell a specific product at Minimum Advertised Price (MAP). We quickly found ourselves disrupted by third-party sellers. Using our combined expertise, we created a platform that gave insight into the sources of products being used to disrupt brands’ presence in the market.

We call this system Ordian. The trust we’ve built over the years is what drives our growth and increasing ability to help brands in the secondary market.

Why Ordian

We understand sellers, their supply chains, and the economics that drive success.

Experience in the gray market

Ordian started out as a marketplace intelligence tool for Protempo, an authorized 3P Amazon, refurb, and clearance partner for tier 1 consumer electronics brands. We were experiencing the same disruption you’re experiencing now, and we realized cutting off the supply chain of unauthorized sellers was the only true long-term solution.

Scaling Ordian as a solution

Based on Ordian’s success in protecting our own authorized 3P business, we refined our approach through AI and machine learning tools and recruited a team of gray market and data experts to scale and relaunch our system as a software service for global brands. That meant more brands could be empowered by using relevant data and solutions to cut off the flow of product to unauthorized sellers.

Expertise with global brands

Our team helps global consumer electronics brands like Google, Apple, Beats, Lenovo, Jabra, and Otterbox solve their gray market and inventory challenges. Our results are quite rare in this field, delivering quantifiable benefits and a proven ROI.

Ordian is committed to uncovering solutions for your unique marketplace problems. We pride ourselves on seeing every project through until the end while offering incomparable support and service.
